Garganey Software: - my business site. Please check there if you have any programming needs: my specialities being C#, C++ and imaging software.

This is my main site with lots of my photography featured - mostly nature - always a work in progress.
In 1995 I produced a calendar of the Art of Gladys Thorne (my Grandmother). I have created a small catalogue of the work of this Nova Scotia artist on this site. If you have any of her work, or know someone who has, please contact me with the details. Have a look at the catalogue - Art of Gladys Thorne.
Nature Photography: (also .com).
That project has now been rollled into my general photography site (see above) and is depricated (links forward to
Owls of Vancouver and (also .com) - my current (outdated) "owl" site. This started out with the idea of tracking all my encounters with owls In Stanley Park and the vicinity.
That project was too large to manage and was never really completed, but still has lots of valuable information. So please check it out while waiting for the next two sites to "hatch".
Owls in - covering some of my adventures with various owl species in the parks of British Columbia's Lower Mainland and Greater Victoria.
This will come to life in late 2021.
Owls of Vancouver's Stanley - recounting my experiences with various owl families in Stanley Park. Covering about a decade - this was the original intent of OwlsInThePark - this new site will concentrate on a few stories for each year featured before my move from Vancouver to Victoria in late 2019.
This will come to life in late 2021.
In summary - I have many changes planned for late 2021. Mostly for the replacement of my  (very dated) owls site with the two smaller but more relevant ones. Meanwhile, most of my effort will be going into expanding my general photography site, where you can already find a specific gallery dedicated to Owls.
